Sōsuke Kaise

is a Japanese manga artist, whose single success is ''Grenadier'', published in ''Shōnen Ace'' by Kadokawa Shoten. He did however create a number of one shot manga prior to that, also published in Kadokawa magazines. ''Grenadier'' started with two one offs in November 2000 and February 2001, but didn't begin regular serialisation until June 2002. At the end of 2004, a 12 episode anime series was created by Studio Live and Group TAC, and broadcast on the satellite station WOWOW. The all 7th compilation tankōbon of the manga was published 26 May 2005.
